I want to make a college of pictures for my MYSPACE background..how do i make this??

i want to take a few photos that i have stored on my computer and make them into a college for my myspace background. I have photoshop but could not figure out if i can make a college with it, do you know any other way?

1) Make the collage.

The best way with Photoshop would be to resize/crop all of the pictures, so that they are the same sizes.

To do this in Photoshop, go to Images, Resize, turn off Constrain Proportions, and set the new Height and Width. 300 x 300 would probably be a decent size.

After you have resized the pictures, make a new document. To figure the size you will need for the new document, you'll have to do some math.

For example if your pictures are all 300 x 300, and you want a collage that is 5 pictures wide and 2 pictures high, set the proportions for the document to 600 High and 1500 Wide (300*2 High and 300*5 Wide).

Now, select you pictures individually. For each picture, go to Select, then All, then click on the Move Tool (Arrow), and drag the pictures to the new document, putting them together at the edges. Photoshop will automatically "snap" the edges together.

Finally, save the picture. JPEG format should work the best.

2) Upload the collage.

Upload the collage to an image hosting website, such as Photobucket.

After uploading the collage, right-click and copy the image URL. You will see the pictures URL below the uploaded picture.

3) Display the collage

Go to your MySpace. Click on Edit Profile. Go to the About Me section. Somewhere in the existing code, write the following...

Now, save you profile. Now you should have a collage for you background.

You can do it in PS. Make a new doc, open each photo seperately and copy/paste into the new doc. Each will be on a new layer, you can move them around and add filters, then save as a jpeg.

Umm alot people i have seen do it in ms paint and just cut the photos together and paste them every whichway.

FYI you would need a website (other than myspace) to upload and host the photos, so when your customizing your myspace, you can link to it. for this i would totally suggest photobucket.

open a new document use a size that fills about 3/4 of the window then open your pictures one bye one,

select the move tool, click on the picture holding the cursor down drag to the large doc and let go.

do the same to all the rest of the pictures ,

once you have done that they will be all one on top of each other in layers .

now you want place the picture where you want them

in your layers palette you will see each picture in their own layer,

you can move the pictures by clicking on the layer holding down the cursor up or down in the layers palette just let go when you found where you want to place them,

you can now go to edit transform, rotate skew distort which ever on you want to do to the picture , once you have finish the first picture in the layer palette click on the next picture and so on till you have finished

once you are happy with what you like save it go to save as and save as a jpeg so it is small enough to load onto your page then if you do not want to keep the one on the pge just delete it if you want to keep it and want to add to it later save it as a pds file and it will stay in the layer when you open it you can move them about.

Well if they`re just icons of the same size; line them up in a square or rectangle, save it, put it into photobucket or tinypic to get the url, then in your layout where it says {background img=xxxxxxx} replace that with the url. Then close in the layout to that will be something like {background repeat: xxxxx} Put in "repeat" instead of xxx.

^^those will be at the top of the layout.

to make a collage in photoshop make different layers and open differnt pictures. then paste them all into one.
